 About us
summertime bliss here at the Doctor's Inn
The Doctor's Inn

Once the home to Doctors from the Historic Trudeau Sanatorium, now three guest rooms for
those who live here
year round or seasonally and for those who vacation in the Tri-Lakes Area.
The Doctor's Inn, designed by architect George Schrader, was built in 1927.  The wrap-around porch allows guests to enjoy the restorative powers of the fresh mountain air.
The relaxing atmosphere can be used as a home-base for your Adirondack adventures or just to kick back and enjoy doing nothing-in-particular.

The Doctor's Inn is off the main road letting you enjoy the peace and quiet yet still close to the activities of the village of Saranac Lake or the trails leading to outdoor adventures. Including a short walk to Mt. Pisgah for hiking, mountain biking trails and tennis/basketball courts in the summer as well as tubing and skiing in the winter.

A short flight of stairs leads you up to our guest rooms located on the second floor of the Inn.

All Inn guests have a mini fridge, french press, mini coffee maker and kettle for heating water for tea in their rooms. We supply dishes and cutlery and there is a microwave in the hallway. Bring your own meals if you would like or head into town and visit one of our terrific local eateries.

In addition, guests have the use of the porches and grounds. For your convenience, we have wireless connection on the property. And, none of the rooms have a television.
